BIOGRAPHY/ARTIST STATEMENT
Vivian Hordes creates fine art prints from her studio in Houston, Texas.
She has shown her work from coast to coast including major exhibitions with The Los Angeles Printmaking Society and The Boston Printmakers.
Influenced by her graduate studies in experimental filmmaking, Hordes uses non-traditional printmaking techniques to create images that are abstract and that also suggest a narrative. She is a founding member of Print Matters Houston and an alumnus of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she received her BFA and MFA.
